Frequency is basically how fast something is vibrating (the reed, the lips, the drumhead, or just air!). A pitch or a "note" is a frequency we produce or can recognize. when we put different pitches in an order we can call it a melody.
As you watch the concert, notice how the smaller instuments tend to play higher and the larger instruments tend to play lower. How do the high and low parts complement each other and work together?
