Come Play With Us!

The Fairbanks Community Band has no entrance audition requirement. Most of our members are not professional musicians but rather dedicated community members who share a love for making music together. Many additional small ensembles support the large groups, quartets, quintets and are great opportunities to meet people who play similar instruments.

People of all ages play with the band and we are actively involved in educating young musicians through to people who may have retired multiple times! We welcome brass, woodwind, and percussion players, and we can also accommodate keyboard and string players. If you want to play, we'll help you find a way!
